HEART criteria
Choose the score (0, 1, or 2) matching the documentation on this encounter. Total updates live; stratify against the six-week MACE bands.
History

Anginal nature of the symptoms.

Specificity rises with reproducible, exertional, substernal chest discomfort.

ECG

Findings on the initial 12-lead.

ST depression, transient ST elevation, or new T-wave inversion in contiguous leads all qualify.

Age

Years at presentation.

Risk factors

Documented atherosclerotic risk factors or established CAD.

HTN, dyslipidemia, diabetes mellitus, obesity, smoking, or family history of CAD; established CAD includes prior MI, PCI, or CABG.

Initial troponin

First troponin drawn on this encounter.

Use the institutional high-sensitivity assay cutoff if available; the 99th-percentile URL is the standard reference.
